You might ask yourself, “Is there a crypto I should buy now?” Let’s start by discussing Bitcoin, the godmother of all other digital currencies. In 2008, a whitepaper was suddenly published to describe a new peer-to-peer currency system. It works 100% transparently and securely—at least in theory. The document is only about 8 pages long, a fraction of the size tech companies normally use. This level of security and transparency should reassure you about Bitcoin’s potential. 

Is Bitcoin a crypto I should buy now? 

Nobody knows the answer to that question. However, many analysts usually agree that the old proverb applies: 

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second best time is now.” 

The irony speaks loudly in this case, but the stance still holds merit. It comes down to basic risk-reward profiles, time horizons, etc.

Where can I get some Bitcoin?

Regulators around the world are allowing approved ETFs to purchase Bitcoin. Another option is to use a crypto exchange like Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken. Hundreds of exchanges could work, so just pick your favorite! The real question is how much responsibility you want to take regarding custody of your assets. 

The other option is to mine it yourself. Get hardcore equipment for your basement or backyard and start producing your own Bitcoin. Then you’ll never wonder which crypto you should buy; you’ll make it yourself. As long as someone finds a cure for the environmental concerns and clean energy consumption.

Is there more crypto I should buy now? 

To know this, you’ll have to do your research. I’m happy to share knowledge from the inner workings of the web3 world because it fascinates me and I am a bit obsessed with the industry in general. My friends don’t want to hear another word from me about this, but that’s because they know the drill already!
